Here's where everything on Cuil will be revealed and updated. Expect changes to be made as Cuil.com updates it's search engine. Firstly. Cuil uses the same system on ranking searches as Google. Google uses a Directory (mostly) and also uses a Spider. Cuil is a Spider and a directory too. The only links it uses to aid on searches is Sponsored links. They search over 127 BILLION websites. Though it doesn't say when exactly the website was updated, it does say that it's Copyright Cuil 2010. They offer web searches, as well as video and streaming searches. The speed of the searches is not shown, but the average speed that I calculated was .5 of a second. Cuil has something called Safe Search. Safe Search is when Cuil filters out inappropriate contents. Cuil doesn't have any boolean logic. Boolean logic are, "And/Or." The quotes and + or - do not work. The results are ranked. Another fact that is very disappointing for a search engine contender is that Link:, Site:, Host:, Intitle:, and Inurl:, and the * do not work. So many things are left out in this search engine. It's possible to change how some things appear on searches, but it is VERY limited. The only thing that they have to alter a search is the Family Filter. The languages that Cuil offers are: Dutch, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, and Turkey. Cuil's slogan is "The Google Killer." Former Google employees work for Cuil now, so Cuil has a big advantage.
